Reach out to us to learn more or to schedule time to review your window treatment options in person.
We offer high-quality Hunter Douglas window treatment solutions that include Roman shades, blinds, Provenance woven wood shades, and the Silhouette and Pirouette style sheer shades. These all come in a variety of different colors, light control, materials, and more.
The Hunter Douglas Silhouette sheer shades include fabric vanes that are positioned between a front and back sheer panel. The vanes are adjustable to control the amount of incoming light, while the sheer portion provides a level of privacy. These come in a range of fabric options and colors.
While they are called a shade, they are often referred to as a blind due to the vanes that are adjustable in a similar fashion to traditional blinds. No matter what you refer to them as, Silhouette shades can be a perfect option for light control and privacy concerns.
The Hunter Douglas Pirouette shades offer contoured fabric vanes that are attached to a sheer backing. This provides a special dimensional appearance, with the adjustable vanes allowing for light control while the sheer panel provides privacy.
While both the Silhouette and Pirouette models are sheer shades, their construction is different. Silhouette shades feature S-shaped vanes that are positioned between two sheer fabric panels. The Pirouette shades use soft fabric vanes that are attached to a single sheer backing. Even with these differences, they both provide light control and privacy.
Yes! The Pirouette shades are made to provide adjustable light control. These shades also provide a level of UV protection so that your furniture and flooring don’t bear the brunt of the UV rays coming through your windows.
The Provenance woven wood shades provide natural materials, including wood, grasses, reeds, and bamboo. Because of the nature of the construction, these shades offer natural texture and organic design elements to any room.
Because of the use of natural materials in Provenance woven wood shades, they make an excellent option for incorporating natural textures and materials into your interior design.
While the Hunter Douglas Provenance woven wood shades are made from natural materials, Roman shades are primarily made from fabric or woven materials. The Provenance woven wood shade can come in a Roman shade configuration, as a Roman shade is more of a generic style of shade.
Roman shades are made from a fabric or woven material that creates a soft window covering. When opened, the shades make folds as they are raised, but offer a clean, finished appearance when closed. We offer many different colors, designs, opacities, and materials for your Roman shades.
Traditional blinds feature horizontal or vertical slats or vanes made from different materials that tilt to provide light control for windows. Roman shades use fabric or other woven materials that fold or stack as they open. Roman shades usually look softer and feature a more decorative appearance.
Yes! Hunter Douglas offers their Roman shades with a number of options, including differing opacity levels and room-darkening materials for bedrooms and other areas. Clients can customize each window in their home with the right configuration.
Yes, many of the Hunter Douglas window coverings can be motorized, depending on the product and the configuration. Models that can be motorized include Silhouette, Pirouette, Provenance, and Roman shades.
When it comes to choosing the right model and style of window covering, there are several important factors to keep in mind or consider. These include: the amount of light control, whether you desire privacy, what designs you prefer, the size of the windows being covered, the desired operation of the window covering, as well as your interior design approach. Our team can help narrow down your choices by discussing these different aspects.
The Home Works is the area’s local design showroom that features Hunter Douglas window treatment options. Homeowners from Girard, Ohio, and the surrounding region can come to the showroom to discuss what window treatments are best for their needs.

Absolutely! With all of the different options in terms of color, material, operation, and more, it can be daunting to try to figure out what the best choice is for a homeowner. Our team will help by asking questions such as the need for privacy in the room(s) being discussed, how much light control is desired, the size of the window, and more.
